Terms and Conditions

1. Participants must abide by the competition rules and any decisions made by the organizer are final.
2. Participants under the age of 17 must obtain parental / legal guardian consent and fill in the consent column within the registration form.
3. The organizer reserves the right to use any submitted photograph for publicity purposes without consent & compensation to the photographers.
4. Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who has infringed any of the competition rules.
5. Decisions by the organizers and competition judges are final. No queries will be entertained.
6. Participants in the competition signify the agreement and acceptance of the terms and conditions as listed.
7. Only secondary student aged 13 to 17 are welcomed.
8. By taking part in the Negeri Sembilan Youth Photomarathon, participants are deemed to have acknowledged that the organizer is indemnified against any accidents or injuries sustained in the course of the event.

Rules and Regulations

1. Participants can use any digital camera to shoot photographs during the event except films camera and mobile phone camera.
2. Storage format accepted are SD/CF formats. Participants using other formats must supply their relevant adaptors/drivers. The organizers will not be held responsible for inability to read/upload images.
3. Photos must be submitted in JPEG formats only. ( No conversion software will be provided )
4. All photographs will be judge on the following key criteria:
• Creativity in the theme interpretation
• Use of colors & shadows
• Composition of photograph
• Relevance to theme
5. All digital photographs submitted must be new works that have been shot on the day of the competition, during the competition hours by participants. Participants, who submit images that were shot earlier, or shot by proxies, will be disqualified.
6. Images download must be in the highest resolution available in the camera.
7. Images are not to be altered by any image editing software.
8. Winning photos will be announced on that day.
9. Participants are to report at 0700hrs for registration at the venue.
10. Participants must submit photos in person. No proxy submission by any participant is allowed during the Negeri Sembilan Youth Photomarathon.
11. The organizer will not be responsible for providing photographic equipment including camera spare batteries, lenses, additional memory cards, other photographic accessories & etc. All participants are expected to come prepared with all their photographic equipment.
12. The organizer will not be responsible for any loss of images/data or damage to memory card during the downloading process.
13. Participants are required to bring along their original and photocopied NRIC for registration. Participants are required to fill up the parental / legal guardian consent form within the registration form. Participants who do not bring along the required materials will be disqualified from registration.
